Hello and welcome! I have a couple of new tutorials for you today. One complements the other! The one I will share now shows you how to make lace angel wings for your next mixed media art doll. It is very simple and looks beautiful when finished.

Don’t worry, my next post shows you how to make that beautiful angel. I will post a link when it’s all uploaded. Let’s get started on the wings!
Supplies needed:
- thin cardboard – a cereal box will do
- masking tape
- gesso
- acrylic paint
- Modpodge/varnish
- lace – approx. 2yds (dependent on the size of wings)
- a tacky glue – I used Magnatac
- glue gun and glue sticks
- scissors
- paintbrush
- ruler
Here is a picture of the cardboard cutouts. You can resize them and print them if you want a template to work with.

Follow along in the video below to make these beautiful wings!
