Another technique I learnt on my printmaking journey was Chine Colle. This involved using a rice paste and tissue papers along with a linoplate that you have previously carved. I first did a monoprint background, then I inked my plate, placed the tissue in place and then printed the design on my all dry monoprint background. I rubbed the back of the paper firmly but carefully so that my tissue would adhere properly. The result was amazing! I love the unpredictability of this method. You never quite know what to expect.
